Happy International Women’s Day!!! When God blessed me with a little girl, I knew that I would pour into her and by doing that, I’d affirm her strength, ability and her beautiful brown skin amongst so much more. As soon as she could say a few words, we started our affirmations every morning. My only hope and prayer is that I provide her with the armor of confidence and tenacity to conquer any obstacles or opinions that may get in her way. Giving it some visual upgrades by changing the dated window and shelving and creating a space for me to work but also a place the kids can lounge when I’m not working. Checking off all the boxes for that greatest mom award the kids are gonna give me at the end of the year. 😫😂 this took a total of 20 minutes to complete and there was no fighting despite having to share one container of glue! Of course adding mums and pumpkins wouldn't be enough I would have to paint the entire door and frame and I did it under 50 bucks with the help of @target and @potterybarn to finish the look.
